I've been a massive fan of Paramore for a few years now, so I was incredibly excited to hear their new album Brand New Eyes. After the first listen I was actually left a little disappointed, after falling instantly in love with their second album Riot! I expected a similar reaction to their latest effort.
It's a new sound for them, a little more mature and restrained and not at all what I expected. After getting over the shock of it and having the album on repeat for a few days it’s actually grown on me a lot. Brand New Eyes is starting to turn into my favorite album of theirs, songs that stood out are Brick By Boring Brick, Turn It Off and Careful.
I'm officially in love again.
